Multidisciplinary databases concentrating on humanities and social sciences, economics, business, environment, and other disciplines.
Full texts and abstracts, books, news and conference proceedings and other documents are made available. Some titles can be accessed retroactively up until the end of the 19th century.
The databases are continually uploaded and offer a plethora of searching options.

PressReader

The PressReader database contains accessible full texts of more than 7,000 foreign daily periodicals and magazines from 120 countries in 60 languages.
The database is uploaded daily. It also contains older publications, usually up to three months since their publishing.

Naxos music library

The NAXOS MUSIC LIBRARY database contains more than 1,000,000 streamed compositions, a collection of classical music, jazz, folk, world music, Chinese, and historical music, artists‘ and composers‘ biographies, an instrumentation of compositions, analyses, music terms, librettos, operas‘ synopses, and an English-language dictionary of music terminology.

The purpose of the database is listening solely.

Codexis

A European legal information system specifically aimed at advocates‘ and the Czech Bar Association members‘ needs, legal professionals as well as those that encounter legislation at their jobs. It contains more than 350,000 documents.

The database is publicly accessible on the 1st floor of the library.

Anopress

Access to a database of Czech media where one can search in an archive archiving items from 1996. Full texts of newspaper and magazine articles – national and regional daily periodicals and magazines, literal transcripts of national and regional radio broadcast and national television news and opinion journalism. News from the Internet. Articles of daily periodicals are accessible from as soon as 7 am of the day of publishing.

It is not possible to save, copy nor download the articles, it is only possibe to print them.

ČSN online

The database contains full texts of valid and some invalid Czech technical standards (from 1999).

The standards can be only read and cannot be printed nor downloaded.
